Birmingham - no cathedral choir for the R of E - music led by a small group of singers/instrumentalists from around the diocese...
Rite adapted a little - no calling out of names and parishes this year - we'd be in church for over two hours if it was included.
Music includes -
Chant - O word of God, come into this space - in 'Cantate'
Be thou my vision
Psalm 18 - Inwood - You Lord, have the message of eternal life
GA - Praise to you - Farrell
Psalm 42 - As the deer longs - Hurd
Christ be our light - Farrell
Psalm 138 - O God you search me and you know me - Farrell
Make me a channel of your peace
Psalm 103 - Bless the Lord - Taizé
Gather us in
Psalm 33 - Dean - Happy the people
Jesus Christ is waiting...
Taizé - Lord Jesus Christ, your light shines....
Will you come and follow me..... Iona
Go in peace ..... Haugen
