Baptism of the Lord

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Based upon a view of its website and the content of my 2009 diocesan directory, it still exists. I am not aware that it actually does a great deal. The words 'energetic', 'dynamic' and 'forward thinking' were not the first ones that came to mind when I saw where this thread was going! This is not necessarily a criticism of the committee members - it is hard to be any of these with no real resources - and I strongly suspect that there may not be many.

I am told that the Birmingham (abcm) website is about to publish details of the popular annual Mass for Musicians and that all PPs should have received notice of this Mass in the post today.

But we have strayed off-topic.
