Heeding the calls on a different thread which suggested we might have an internet link, I have investigated the possibility with New Hall.
The ideal solution - a firewalled connection to their network - is not possible (we left it too late to ask). They have offered a dial-up (oh yawny, yawn, yawn
). Watch this space!
BTW, I reserve the right not to be called a nerd if Admin posts during the week... no other exemptions though!
