The Universalis app, which provides the full texts of readings and prayers for Mass and the Divine Office on each day of the year, has now made available the new lectionary translation (from the English Standard Version Catholic Edition [ESV-CE] with the Abbey Psalms).
Universalis is free for the week ahead but requires a small payment (around £9) for unlimited access across the whole year. The new readings/translations begin on the First Sunday of Advent – 1 December 2024. Subscribing also gives access to a range of other useful features including short biographies on saints’ days, commentary on parts of the liturgy, the liturgical calendar (including for religious orders and congregations) and background to the Office of Readings (or Vigils).
