Yes, he did, but it's very old news now. A number of people disagreed with him in the national press.
The underlying question is "Where do you find your friends?" Christopher Jamison is quite convinced, like +Vin, that virtual friends are not valuable. He cites young people who value themselves by the number of "friends" they have on Facebook instead of the number of real friends they have.
Must say I have no desire to be listed among someone's friends on Facebook. It seems like self-bolstering, and merely serves to reveal someone's insecurities.

Oops! Just goes to show what happens when you're skimming through. I didn't read the title of the page, nor the report, merely looked rapidly at the photo and the headline. I sit corrected.
