Ten thousand posts

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Congratulations to mcb for posting the ten thousandth post on 'liturgy matters'! There is, unfortunately, no prize

He must have sat there for hours, watching the count go up, ready to post at exactly the right moment! Well done, MCB! :D

Where can we see the post count on individual boards?

At the moment, there is a total 10862 across all the boards.

Woo, spooky. I had the 2000th and 5000th as well. If memory serves I bagged the 2000th post deliberately, but the other two were fortuitous. Maybe I should just post less.

Anyway, thanks to all the other 9999 posters (actually there are about twelve of us, aren't there? Some with serious multiple personality problems :-)) for making this place such a welcoming and thought-provoking place to hang around.

On the 'board index' page it lists posts as one of the major column headings. I would say that you can't miss it, but obviously you have done :)

Not at all mcb, just avoid round numbers

I saw that and do actually say I have seen that figure.

Therefore, you were very slow with your congratulations??

I think it ws just the General Discussion/ Liturgy Matters ten thousand.
The Composers' Corner is altogether more exclusive. :)
