Parish music workshop in Liverpool
Martin Barry and Nick Baty are directing a workshop for parish musicians at St Francis Xavier Church, Liverpool, 27 June.
This is not an SSG event but might be of interest to musicians in the North West.

Nice poster and a useful event. Wish I didn't have a prior engagement that day.

Me too, with some of my gang, unless we miss the turn off for Liverpool, in which case, we will be having a beach day in a Welsh seaside town. So we are bringing buckets and spades. Just in case.

Excellent poster!
Am I right in thinking that the Shaw Room at SFX is named not after Shaw Street but after John Shaw, a former treasurer of the SSG and source of some wonderful stories? He played the organ at SFX for many years, too, which is what prompted the question.

By way of a bump, still a few places left for latecomers – just warn us if you're bringing a coachload as we'd need a third teapot!
If anyone wishes to join us just for the afternoon – singing the psalms – that begins around 12.45pm.

Ooh, percussion, excellent! Bring a large wooden spoon if you want to play third teapot.

But third teapot is traditionally in Eb and I've only provided parts in Bb.
Re: Parish music workshop in Liverpool
These digital teapots usually have a transpose button.
(Have we done enough bumping?)
