Stations of the Cross for children

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Stations of the Cross for children

Post by asb »

My ex PP has asked me if there is either a "children's version" of the Stabat mater or something else that could be sung at a children's SOTC. (I am being asked more since I left my post than when I was in it! I suppose when I was there things just happened)

Any suggestions please?

For the last couple of years we've used Chris Walkers/Paule Freeburgs children's stations:

a great resource that's very easy for children to pick up. We use some of the songs within the music/book (a number of which are also used by the adult choir for the st john passion from chris walker on good friday) at our masses during lent too, and in the school, so the children and families can easy join in.
