broadcast evensong

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

broadcast evensong

I read on another strand that the BBC plan to move Choral Evensong from Wednesday to Sunday. I do hope they place it early in the evening for the benefit of devotees who go to Vespers or Evensong! I find it very helpful to be able to listen to it on the website but I wish it was on there longer than a week as I often miss it. :(

My understanding, from a snippet I caught, is that they plan to put it on live at 4pm on Sundays.

Of course, many of the potential audience for Choral Evensong may be out at, er, evensong on a Sunday.
It's not a generation gap, it's a taste gap.
