Record breaker

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Record breaker

Post by Dot »

I wonder what drew 20 punters simultaneously to the Forum on Sunday 11th June, or was it just a freak occurrence? Perhaps some of you could let us know if you had nothing better to do last Sunday morning..... before Mass, of course!

Yes, I noticed that. It hadn't changed for ages! What did we miss?

Everyone on their way back from clubbing, perhaps?

So, who is going to post the fabulous 4000th message? Not me, that's for sure; I'm going to stand back and watch (which will be welcome news to TT, who I pipped to the 3000th!).

Seriously, sincere thanks to everyone who posts here and makes our forum such a useful and friendly place.

Musicus you've opened up the way for a series of utterly pointless posts as people try and hit the 4k mark!
This, or course, isn't one of them

A bit of a tangent, but how many people play/sing/direct whatever at more than 1 weekend or Holyday Mass? I do Sat pm, Sun 08.30 & 10.30; Holydays 10.00 and 19.30

A few years ago I did a 6.30 sat, 10.30 and 6.30, all in different parishes. Up until a few weeks ago I did a 6.30 sat and a 10.30 but have just dropped the sat evening, currently I do to Sunday morning in my parish and cover our own Saturday evening if needed.

Playing both saturday night and sunday morning is a big commitment which takes a very large hole out of the weekend, especially for someone with a 'day job'. Asb, three Masses each Sunday must make you a saint!

Has it happened yet? If so, who was the luck contributor and what do they win?

The site's front page says we're on 4015 (well, 4016 after this one - well, 4017 after the thread I'm about to start).
