forum framework update

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

forum framework update

Post by admin »

I have to apply a major update to the forum framework. This will take place over the coming weekend, 4-5 July. During the time I am applying the upgrade, the forum will be unavailable.

I do not know how long it is going to take. The steps are relatively straightforward, but the process requires the entire forum to be backed up (files and database), files deleted, new files installed, database updated and restored.

Please be patient. If you find the forum unavailable, it's because I am working!

It must still be 2015, surely.
Migration done.
