Liturgical Texts for Weddings

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Liturgical Texts for Weddings

Post by FrGareth »

If you preside at Catholic Weddings, or prepare service booklets for them, I have uploaded a bunch of resources to a new section of my website. Wedding Masses are pretty straightforward with the new Missal, though you still need to print the Rite of Marriage and might find a sheet of Eucharistic Prayer embolisms handy.

Wedding Services apart from Mass? That's another story! Now if you want to use the two alternative nuptial blessings or the bespoke texts when marrying an unbaptised person to a Catholic, you have everything you need for a presider's folder and a people's book.

I hope the Copyright Fairies won't mind - the official 1971 book has been out of circulation for a long time and no doubt we will one day have a replacement which is 100% Liturgicam Authenticam. But if anyone official objects, I will take down the offending files post-haste.
