SSG Composers' Group

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

SSG Composers' Group

Post by gwyn »

On Saturday 14th September I attended my first SSG Composers' Group meeting. If like me you've thought that this group is only for proper, professional composers, then let me reassure you that this is not the case though there are of course proper, professional composers present. Everyone who attended was warm, supportive, constructive and good humoured; binging a significant individual and collective knowledge and understanding of liturgy and the part that music plays within it.

I'd encourage anyone to attend a future meeting, they're good fun and very informative. There is a wealth of boots-on-the-ground experience on which to draw.
