I have just returned from Universa Laus 2013 at Worth Abbey, an international meeting of RC liturgical musicians. UL was founded just after the Second Vatican Council by Gelineau, Huijbers and others to foster the study and implementation of the Council - which, in this the 50th anniversary year of Sacrosanctum Concilium (VII's decree on the liturgy) and with a new Pope who (unlike his two immediate predecessors) seems intent on furthering rather than closing down that implementation, is as relevant as ever. (That last sentence could have come from the new emasculated ICEL!)
