Grumbles forgotten

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Grumbles forgotten

Post by Merseysider »

Just come back from choir practice – in tears.

Good rehearsal. By the time I made it into the bar they had somehow managed to provide just about every sort of sandwich you can think of, to say nothing of chicken salad, piggy pie and – in the centre – a superb birthday cake. (The day was yesterday!)

Received a huge bundle of cards – each containing a little something – fiver upwards.

Drinks were on the table.

What wonderful people. More to the point, how wonderful to be so appreciated.

All earlier grumbles to be forgotten.
