Extraordinary Form Hymnal

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

A new Extraordinary Form Hymnal will begin shipping in late January 2013:

This is in response to the Holy Father's motu proprio, Summorum Pontificum.

Looking at the Table of Contents, I was relieved to see that this is not actually a hymnal (defined in the dictionary as a 'collection of hymns') but rather an up-to-date (if that's not heresy for EF stalwarts) 'Liber Usualis' type collection.

From the scant information available It looks as though this could be a useful resource for churches where EF Sung and High Masses are celebrated. Most copies of pre Vatican 2 Graduales and Liberi are falling apart, foxed, and, not to put too fine a point on it... a bit minging!
