Kevin Kelly on the new ICEL translation

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Kevin Kelly on the new ICEL translation

For those who haven't yet read it (although it's been circulating for some time), Fr Kevin Kelly's thoughts on the new Missal are now on PrayTell.

There's a rather good editorial in this weekend's Tablet based on Fr Kelly's letter.

What a particularly tasteless, insensitive and uncalled for remark that is EP. Well over 20,000 people have turned out here to mourn the deaths of the three victims of murder and this city is in deep shock.

The Tablet editorial is here. http://www.thetablet.co.uk/article/161608

Oh sorry P. I thought I was only agreeing with Kevin Kelly when he was trying to whip up a Tahrir Square response (ie riotous and rebellious) to Rome and the new translation. I thought that was the general theme here......
