What colour is yours?

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

A better look tonight, pipe is unhooked, has a two inch slotting device on the back and behind is a shelf/support , shaped to fit, which has a two inch pin, seems light in weight ( I accidentlly moved it when touching it, looking inside and it moved to my hand), spotted metal, evidence of old decorated chevrons etc, don't think it is the rank for Violon (pedals), which is sounding inside I think, but could be Great Pedals which is not sounding at all when stop is pulled out, or just possibly pipes are there for decoration. Inside is a rank of skewed wooden square pipes with fiddly bits at the top, leaning at all angles and possibly the most dirt and dust I have ever seen in my life. Makes my house seem clean by comparison. So not knocked off, has to have been lifted off. If dummy then maybe they were moved by decorators then not attached properly, dare not touch the others, but if so, why not paint them better?

Painters are anathema to organs. We covered ours ourselves with plastic but the ladders still managed to knock a pipe. As it is 1895 it should NOT be painted at all and pink sounds ghastly - a pink elephant! Thanks for the laugh Nick!
