What a magnificent article from Nick - this really says it all.
The RC Church has issued the V2 documents, the GIRM, Music in divine worship etc. etc.
However, if we are not allowed to sing the Sanctus and Psalms (in whatever stlyle), then what's the point!

That's very kind of you, John. I should stress that it's only an extract from a much longer dissertation and is, therefore, on its own incomplete. This section was an attempt to explain to my examiners why we do what we do.
