Bring flowers of the rarest

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

'Dark night hath come down on us' & 'And the banners of darkness are boldy unfurled',

And indeed, dark night most certainly hath come down on us, the banners of darkenss flutter unashamedly overhead. The body count for slaughtered unborn babies is pheominal, the USA are poised to fund international unborn baby slaughter on a previously unimagined scale. Society is degrading practically by the minute, rape, murder and other vile crimes against the person are, on the up-and-up. All this despite "a sunny Easter Sunday". Such atrocities occur whether it is Easter, Ramadam or whatever.

"...Pray for us sinners now, and at the hour ouf our death.

This is, unfortunately true. However, will singing the above (and 'look[ing] out for thy shining sweet Star of the Sea) during Mass at Easter (or at any other time) be of any help?

Would it be better, for example, to sing 'Go out to the whole world and proclaim the Good News' - and then actually do this?
