I know of lots of trusts/foundations that give money for Anglican Church music and some for Methodists too, but I'm struggling to find any that are keen to support Catholic music. In particular I'm thinking of trusts that give money for buying music etc.
Does anyone know of any?
Thanks, Michael.

Re: Grants?
I am unaware of any grant provider in the UK that finances specifically Catholic music, but, like you, would love to know of any.
Believe it or not, Friends of Cathedral Music (http://www.fcm.org.uk) do provide music grants to Catholic foundations but nowadays they tend to be to 'traditional' choral foundations for capital purposes (such as the endowment of choral scholarships or the purchase of capital equipment). I understand, however, that they made a £500 grant to the Birmingham Oratory for the purchase of music in 2006, so it might be worth giving them a call - but I wouldn't hold your breath!

Re: Grants?
Yes, I'm aware of them, however they only review applications once a year, after they've been received by November. Still, may be worth waiting!

Re: Grants?
I am unaware of any such funding body. It is yet more illustration that from the hierarchy down, in this country music is regarded as an optional extra rather than something integral to the rite.
