OK, here are some suggestions for Sundays 5,6 & 7. (including Boyce and Stanley). As requested there are links to the scores for all the suggestions and soundfiles for some of them:

Sunday 5

Start: Bach, BWV721 Erbaum Dich Mein, o Herre Gott. A recitalist once told the story of how he was guest organist for a service in a European church. There was quite a lot of chatter, till he started playing this piece and the whole church went quiet. The YouTube file is a brilliant interpretation by a master organist and creates a really prayerful atmosphere. I doubt that many of us could get away with taking it this slowly though. The text of the chorale is a prayer for forgiveness.

How time flies, is it really 8 years?

I'm working through the Novello Village Organist series at the moment. Well worth a look if you like Victoriana, including quite a few transcriptions!

Again, should not this entire section be reclassified under 'Core repertoire' or, if this is too incidental, under 'Sounds Off'. Is this not more of a musical subject rather than a liturgical one?

On the other hand, if one moves away from repertoire selected on largely musical grounds and looked at the selection of such music according to the liturgical themes dominating a particular service then this could stay here.
