Well done Nick. I bet you have slogged your guts out many a time to hear no word of praise. To get praised out of the blue for something you obviously regard as 'everyday' must have felt wonderful.

And of course, we should try to remember to thank others who contribute as often as we like to be thanked: priests, deacons, servers, cleaners, repository volunteers, catechists, etc.etc.etc.etc. It does encourage all of us.
