presentation book for psalmists

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

But would you procalim the Exsultet from the ambo?

You would if you were following the rubrics.

Both my missals mention a lectern or a pulpit.
I thought the ambo was reserved for the Word.

From GIRM #309: The Ambo
From the ambo only the readings, the responsorial Psalm, and the Easter Proclamation (Exsultet) are to be proclaimed; it may be used also for giving the Homily and for announcing the intentions of the Prayer of the Faithful.

And the reading are read in the light of the paschal candle/risen Christ both literally and metaphorically
