Well, a subtler appreciation may have been more appropriate but our choir has had experience of being slated, in no uncertain terms, by a former PP, from the sanctuary, before the end of Mass. As you can imagine, it made us all want to give up there and then.
I'd rather have the reaction you got any day!!!

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH A PP WHO.....
Just to say that after much heart searching, I am now taking active steps to find liturgical employment outside the Catholic Church. Shall therefore not be posting on this forum again.

Very sorry to hear that you are not going to post any more, Andrew. Your contributions have provoked much discussion and I'm sure lots of others (who may not have posted) empathised with you. As far as I know, you don't have to be involved with Catholic liturgy to be a member of the forum. Contributions are welcome from anyone who is interested in what's being discussed.
