My apologies

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

My apologies

Post by musicus »

I must apologise to the Board. While I was moderating the 'paying for ministries' thread just now, and splitting the last two posts off to a new one, I seem to have managed to delete all of the posts in the old thread up to that point. Whilst it was certainly my intention to remove a few of today's posts (which I judged to be 'flaming' - see Forum Rules, point 1), I certainly did not intend anything so draconian. I have phoned Admin, who might have access to a backup, but he is out for the evening. Rest assured I will do my best to restore the thread.

Doh! The thread was there all the time - but someway down the order, because I have deleted many of today's posts.

I am very sorry, by the way, that some good discussion got thrown away along with the moderated stuff, but, try as I might, I could not disentangle the one from the other.

So far as I know, there is no way to hide doubtful posts, pending moderation. However, I will find out and, if necessary, sign up for the necessary training course.

This is now possible! Thank you, Admin.
