Reminded me of our dear departed parish priest who told us 'The Bulletin contains everything there is to know and lots of other things as well'

I know an Irish parishioner who once said "I didn't know about that!" and was told "It was in the newsletter". She replied "I never read the newsletter!" The following week, something was announced by Father that wasn't in the newsletter. She later said "I didn't know about that!" and was told "It was announced". she replied "I never listen to the announcements!"

True!
