A parishioner has given me a copy (words and music) of a hymn to St Stanislaus Koska, beginning "Saint of our youth! Thy heart to gain, earth spread her glittering toys to gain" The tune begins in d and ends in F. The parishioner would like to know if the tune has a name. can anyone help please?

Does it really rhyme "gain" with "gain"? (Maybe it was written by Edward Lear.)
You could improve on it by making the second line "earth spread her glittering toy steam train." Or something.

Doh! should have read "earth spread her glittering toys in vain"
