55 at our vigil which was the only Mass of the feast in the parish. We decided not to have a morning Mass as PP is away and so few came to SS Peter and Paul morning Mass it seemed unfair to drag someone else in.
Of that 55, only 3 of us were under 40. The vast majority were well over 65. Purely with that demographic, such celebrations can't have long left.
Of course it may well be that
1. Many families with children were away on holiday
2. Those working in town went to the cathedral at lunchtime- that Mass is usually quite full.
It will please Reginald though that we did have EP1!

We only had an evening mass, as is usual for HoOs, and 50 came. That is about normal historically, but this year numbers have been very low for holidays, only 30 for Ss Peter and Paul. Our Sunday mass attendance is ~100.
Demographically it was about the normal mix. They did sing well though - they made a lot of noise with "Tell out my soul".
