Responsorial psalm for 6th Sunday in Paschaltide <C

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Responsorial psalm for 6th Sunday in Paschaltide <C

Post by gwyn »

The online Liturgy Planner gives Psalm 46, R/ God goes up with shouts of joy; the Lord goes up with trumpet blast.

My missal has Psalm 144, R/ I will bless you name for ever, OGod my King.

IIRC Psalm 46(47):2–3, 6–7, 8-9 r.6 is more yer Ascension.

You mean the 5th Sunday, doc - the 6th Sunday isn't posted online yet. Nonetheless, there is a serious error with the 5th Sunday - both online and in print: the music section is incorrect and mistakenly shows the music choices for the Ascension.

We should, of course, have caught this in the checking. Ultimately though the mistake is mine, as I typeset the printed page. I will reset the page correctly and ask our webmaster if he will post it online.

Meanwhile, I profoundly apologise for this mistake. Thank you for pointing it out, Gwyn.

No worries Musicus. It's an excellent guide, exceptionally accurate and reliable. Well done all who contribute.
