Farewell

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Farewell

Post by musicus »

Almost exactly eleven years ago I welcomed you all to a new discussion forum: this one! Today I say farewell – as a moderator, that is; I will still comment from time to time, but under my own name.

It has been, as they say, a fun ride. There have been a few bumps on the way but, generally speaking, the forum has proved useful. I wish it and you, its readers and contributors, well for the future.

Lest you wonder, I shall not be twiddling my thumbs, what with two major new projects coming along recently.

I leave you in the extremely capable hands of Dom Perignon.

Salute!

I'm sure that many here will wish to thank you for the steady hand on the tiller, and probably most of all for your seemingly infinite patience when things got hectic.

I am glad that we have not seen the last of you, and would like to say "Good Luck!" with the two new major projects.

In the meantime, Matthew 25:21 and 23 seem very appropriate: "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
