On Friday 19 September I leave uk for Florida and my new life as director of music for st Lawrence Tampa.
I am really looking forward to working again after my post at Hallam was declared redundant at Easter. How united the kingdom will be when I return depends on the outcome of tonight's vote in Scotland. This could mean an adventure for all of us.
Thanks Ssg for all the support over the years. Phil jakob

I fell for it, HallamPhil - accessed this thread partly curious to see how you would give a liturgical slant to discussing "that vote", but also rather hoping to find a discussion of the morality of our supposedly mutually hostile "leaders" getting together to promise something that they must know is not in their gift.
However, good luck in your new venture.

Difficult to type as the hand you so vigorously shook in July is still recovering, but sending you every good wish.

Hope it all goes well for you.
It's not a generation gap, it's a taste gap.

Good luck, Phil, and enjoy your new appointment. I hope we'll still see you at Summer School.
