Exultet

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Users may like to look and listen http://www.ocp.org/products/30115329 where they will find a Walker rendition of the Exultet as a song of joy even allowing for the new Roman Missal English translation text. I believe Decani Co are the UK retailer if you wish to avoid online purchase. In my view this version of the Exultet comes 'highly recommended'

@fisherpeter - I spent some time this year training a deacon to sing the Walker Exsultet, and can agree whole-heartedly with fisherpeter that it's a very fine setting - solemn tone, simple to learn, allows for choir/deacon-or-cantor interaction if you want and yet will allow the words to be proclaimed with joy and the excitement that befits the occasion.

I followed that link too - and was very impressed (to the extent that I went online and bought it).
