Rumour has it that Decani will be publishing a supplement to Resurrexit, BCEW Dept of Christian Life and Worship Permission to Publish Procedures permitting.

The contents could include:

At least three settings of the Exsultet ........ one of which might have refrains for the assembly, if permission is given. There will be one really easy chant setting for celebrants who cannot face attempting the melodious and sometimes melismatic Missal magnum opus.

Settings of the essential ICEL texts will include GF Showing of the Holy Cross and the EV Litany, for example.

Settings of non-mandatory ICEL Missal texts - for example, the Reproaches - will also be included.

I imagine that the Decani website will post details soon .......... BCEW Dept of Christian Life and Worship Permission to Publish Procedures permitting.

Decani will also have available some new Holy Week music from the USA - OCP. GIA etc… No BCEW Dept of Christian Life and Worship Permission to Publish Procedures required.

Anyone know if any other publisher is producing Holy Week material? Any of us publishing anything? (I ask because I can put details of what will be available in the next ad clerum.

I think Concept Music might have a few Holy Week items in the offing (not necessarily settings of mandatory or non-mandatory ICEL texts).

Good luck, if you need a Nihil Obstat to publish (but as BCEWDCLAWPTPP do not appear to have put this requirement in writing - or formulated and formally promulgated a particular law, based on Canons 820s - 830s - I should publish anyway.)
