Do they not know that the Catholic Church has changed? Real Catholic music is not that old depressing moaning and groaning. It's upbeat and syncopated. Catholicism with a smile! You're not going to get that from the Oratorians and these other reactionaries.

Inclusiveness - a good target. How are you going to include people who find upbeat syncopation depressing? Remember that "catholic" means "universal".

Ah, the music of wot's happenin'. It will be very interesting to see the impact of the training of priests on liturgies in different places, and the reaction of congregations to any implementation. I don't expect it all to be quite like the above.
