Our Lady of Lourdes, Wanstead E11 2PR, has recently had a new pipe organ installed. Its a 2 manual, 18 stop built by Robin Jennings.
NPOR suggests the previous incumbent was a 1 manual Mander.
The specs are:
Pd: Bourdon 16, Principal 8, Fagotto 16, Trumpet 8
Gt: Open Diapason 8, Stopped Diapason 8, Principal 4, Chimney Flute 4, Fifteenth 2, Mixture III
Sw: Open Flute 8, Gamba 8, Celeste 8, Principal 4, Fifteenth 2, Sesquialtera II, Contra Fagotto 16, Trumpet 8
Sw to Pd, Gt to Pd, Sw to Gt
Mechanical action throughout.
The SSG members at Our Lady's invite us to an inaugural recital on Friday 4th March at 7:30 py by Geoffrey Morgan (Christchurch Priory). It will be followed by refreshments in the Parish Pastoral Centre (Retiring Collection in aid of the Organ Fund)
