Nothing to do with liturgy but huge fun

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Is that implying that liturgy is no fun, or that liturgy is not huge fun?

Well liturgy, like theology (so I was told of the latter at university) should be serious but not solemn. I'm not sure though if it should be fun as such. Perhaps enjoyable, uplifting, exciting even.... fun suggests a flippancy I woulod rather not attach to worship.

Boring old fogey signing off! :D

Nothing to do with Liturgy but some element of fun.

I turned off all the lights in the church this morning by switching the organ power off during the service. Obviously my playing was electrifying this morning which is quite shocking.
Cue jokes on electricity..................

They'll be right at Ohm here. I'm sure the lighting switch off wasn't your Volt though Oops. Watt was the cause?

power surge Iguess

(The organ hums quite loudly when switched on and PP likes it to be turned off for Gospel and Eucharistic Prayer etc).

Fuse switches had to be flicked back up.

Oh, the fun I shall have.................
