CCTV links

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

CCTV links

Post by Hare »

Does anyone have any experience of CCTV systems in church? At present I rely on a small mirror on the organ console to see the altar, and the cantor at the ambo, but I know a number of churches and cathedrals use video links. A 2-camera system would also allow view of the main door for weddings and funerals; at present I have to rely on instinct, or a messenger.

Any info gratefully received. "General" info might be useful here to others, whereas specific recomendations might be better by PM.

Many thanks in advance.

The Mander Board did this a while back - http://www.mander-organs.com/discussion/index.php?showtopic=2539&hl=cctv. It goes a bit OT but comes back again further down.

Thanks - I knew I'd seen something somewhere but couldn't recall where.
