question for mcb??

Well it does to the people who post here... dispassionate and reasoned debate, with a good deal of humour thrown in for good measure.

Well, there might be an option to become bi-ritual I suppose, given today's news from Rome about those of the C of E who desire communion but wish to retain their liturgical tradition ....... not that I would!

This needs a new thread - I'll start one.

Five days? :D

It happens from time to time, when all our regular posters are distracted by other matters, and is nothing to worry about. But presbyter's intervention was welcome, as always.

My sons' regular accusations of senility clearly have something in them!

just to say that the apostrophe is not a sign of keith's senility - he has more than one son.

Did mcb ever answer the question? <rolling eyes, since we don't have that emoticon on this board>

That's odd ─ that emoticon was missing when I typed that post, otherwise I'd have used it. (I checked through all of them to make sure I hadn't missed it.) Now it's back. And no, I haven't been drinking, before you ask.

Something strange on the board tonight. That last message seemed not to post ─ I got stuck with a tab which said "Society of St Gregory • Information" (whatever that means) and the whole thing froze for 10 minutes with the message apparently only 3/4 sent. Then I got a notification about a private message at one of my e-mail accounts, so tried to get into Control Panel (and succeeded), the post apparently having failed, and returned here to find it had posted after all. Hmmm. Obviously another glitch. All emoticons still present and correct, however.

My ooops mistake above was your pm that somehow appeared on the board ... but I might have just pressed the wrong button. Did you get the full pm?

I think it's up to our member who is comparing meerkats to do that when he thinks the time is right .........

For those who may find this thread just as baffling now it is in English as it was in Armenian, 'meerkats' can be translated as 'digital organs'!

I will be posting an update on the 'Comparing the Meerkats' thread early next week - for those whose breath is now bated.
