Hi Oops - when is the wedding? Have you checked out the Liturgy Office? Pretty sure there is a link on this board somewhere.

Re: Urgent Doc? Anyone?
Not in my experience no.
The structure is pretty much
Entrance Rite
Liturgy of the Word:
Homily
Rite of Marriage
General intercessions
Nuptial Blessing
Conclusion: Lord's prayer and Final Blessings
the entrance rite is somewhat brief, usuallu the bride walks in with her father (but this is not necessary), presider welcomes, says the opening prayer (I think) and then its into the lit of the Word. I'm still at work and will be for another couple of hours but will delve into my resources when I get home.

How come your link works and load and my computer search engine does not? No, don't stop spinning that thing.... I am sorry to bother you so late in the day.
That is what I thought. We had a run through the order of service last night and I meant to clarify but then forget.. so tired am I.

That link contains another link to the compete ICEL text - which is not quite our Marriage Rite. The legal declarations are not there, at a quick glance.
Also, we do not use Option A.
Borrow a book oops (not that what I've posted should affect the music).

Perhaps we're straying into the area of a new thread, but sacramental rites generally don't have a penitential rite (even though the Redemptorists often mistakenly include one), nor a sign of the cross at the beginning before the greeting.

Re: Urgent Doc? Anyone?
No I didn't think it was right, but for various reasons too long to go into, we have included it. It can be left out but would be not good, if PP expects congregation response for such bits there might be awkward silences and he would be disconcerted, so in it goes. It can be left unsaid without anyone worrying too much. A Wedding Mass would have been so much easier. Thanks for advice all.
