Thanks for the many contributions to the thread http://www.ssg.org.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=858&start=15 entitled Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of the Father.
Forum contributor Lakelark recently sent me via e-mail his superb metrical version of this canticle from Philippians chapter 2: 6-11.
For anyone who is interested, Lakelark is happy to be contacted about this arrangement via....[email edited out. Please PM Lakelark for detail- mod]
Noteworthy among his many other liturgical translations are:
* "Hymns for the English Liturgy" a collection of 20 verse-hymns translated from the Latin liturgy into contemporary and inclusive English
- and -
* "The Chantry Psalter" all 150 Psalms translated from the Hebrew into contemporary and inclusive English, designed primarily for meditation and singing.

I think you should remove that email address and give it out via pm if necessary.
It is not too long ago that someone's email id was hijacked and they had huge problems sorting it all out.
Just an opinion.

Thanks indeed, Gwyn, for your commendations. As an innocent in these matters, I have to say that monty's advice about the e-mail address seems sensible, though I am prepared to accept guidance on this issue. I can see that a PM is more secure. Perhaps our moderators would make a judgement on this.

Re: Kenosis
Yes, not too safe to publish emails addresses on here. And slightly OT, but related, be wary of letting the world know you're off to summer school – SSG or other. A friend announced on Facebook that she was off camping with her two kids for a week – the house was burgled as soon as she left!
