I know from my limited experience of (non-music) specialist publishing that companies can be interested in bringing 20th century classics back into print, even where the print run is never going to be huge. Improvements in publishing technology have a lot to do with this, but so has passion for subject and content, despite its struggle for survival in the wake of publishing-industry consolidation.

Another useful avenue is the estate of the author. If anyone has the contact details for Dr. Berry's, they might like to PM them to musicus (sorry to presume, Mr. Bear).

Let me second FrGareth's recommendation of The Beginner's Book of Chant: A Simple Guide for Parishes, Schools and Communities. Ascribed to 'a Benedictine monk' it was, in fact, written by none other than the much-missed Abbot Alan Rees OSB. It's a paperback (ISBN 9780907077398) and costs £9.95.
