Electronic Bell Simulation

Re: Electronic Bell Simulation
Sorry to keep you in suspense Hare - busy week at work. The church in question was in Shirehampton, but as for our paths crossing I was much later on the scene - 2000 to 2004.
Re: Electronic Bell Simulation
Taking this a stage further, does anyone have any idea as to the cost of installing a real bell, for which a suitable turret would need to be built? The point made earlier about a full peal of bells when there is no tower is a very valid!

Re: Electronic Bell Simulation
Apologies, Hare. I promised to forward details of the company which installed the bells in my Mum's parish: It's Belltron of Dublin. The PP assures me they appear in the Dublin Yellow Pages (apparently it's Golden Pages in Ireland). He's promised to come back to me with more details although I know he's rather busy preparing to retire right now.
It really is a superb carillon and, unlike the bell DocMatt mentions above, it's digital rather than recorded so it won't sound out of tune.
Sounds most convincing and you can opt to play inside or outside the church or both.
Hope this is some use.

Thanks. Phoenix Organs claim to be developing a system but have not answered my enquiry.
