Re: Live-streamed liturgy: what about music?
Our parish musicians record hymns at home for inclusion in streamed Sunday masses. It's reasonably successful, though a lot of work. I record an organ track (possibly with a metronome and a lead singer), it's emailed to people who then record their part into a phone, ipad or whatever while listening ...

Re: Remembrance Sunday
Might it be this one by any chance? Commonly sung churches in the Newcastle area a long while back, and I occasionally get asked for it at funerals. I've no idea how accurate it is - I just took down verbatim what an old boy of the parish sung through for me. So if this is recognisable to anybody ...

Re: Weekday Psalms
Use the RH mouse button - right-click on the psalm and it will highlight the psalm text - up pops a little window giving you the option to copy just the psalm, or copy the whole page (i.e. the entire expanded mass text), you can then paste it into Word or whatever. Rather clever.

Re: Boosey and Hawkes
I make a living as a sheet music retailer & I'm not surprised there's a problem... B&H titles are are actually warehoused and distributed from Germany (Mainz), whoever it is you're attempting to buy from in the UK. As far as I'm aware there's no problem with availability of the MacMillan St Anne ...

Re: Organists
Novello still publish a lot of Merkel's material - from archive - but it's generally in collections with titles like "nine fugues", "twelve preludes" etc and Allegro Maestoso sounds like it's probably number seven or whatever in one of these collections, so not easy to find. OUP and Cramer have some ...

Re: Year of Faith Hymn
I have a pdf of this in Italian - a nice lady from the Segreteria Organizzativa Anno della Fede was in touch within the hour when I notified the broken link. Translations to follow "soon". Can't post it here as I'm getting a board-attachment-quota-has-been-reached message, will PM if anyone wants it.

Re: The 'Twelfth of never'...
I have learnt that I must never use the combination of 8' flute and twelfth when playing over the melody of the psalm response - our cantor (84, bless him) intoned the melody up a fifth, and two hundred people bravely followed him.
